The meeting included the adoption of a consent agenda covering resolutions 26-32 and 26-37, as well as a contract addendum for the Southshore Fire Station project. The council also received a first quarterly update regarding progress on 2026 city council initiatives and goals. Finally, the council entered an executive session to evaluate the performance of the chief executive officer and to consider information exempt from public inspection.

The council meeting addressed several legislative and operational items. The council adopted the consent agenda, including the authorization for the sale of general obligation bonds for the Southshore Fire Station.
