Tcat Transit Development Plan 2020
The TCAT 2020 Transit Development Plan (TDP) is a comprehensive review of the bus network, assessing service performance, coverage, and demand to better utilize resources, increase ridership, and improve accessibility. The plan aims to create a clear, efficient, and attractive transit system; encourage multi-modal connectivity; offer first/last-mile service solutions; develop frequent-service corridors; enhance bus stop and Park & Ride amenities; increase ridership and reliability; and ensure equitable, accessible, and inclusive service. Key findings from the existing conditions analysis include an over-capacity facility, regional mobility challenges, stakeholder commitment to transit, and sustained population growth. The plan incorporates public engagement through surveys, focus groups (targeting various demographics), online interactive tools, and office hours.
