Woodland Park Planning Commission Planning Commission Meeting
The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding a zone change request and conditional use permit for the Eagle Fire Lodge property. The proposal aims to convert 25 existing lodging units into market-rate long-term rental dwelling units by rezoning the parcel from Planned Unit Development to Multi-dwelling Urban Residential. Discussions focused on density allowances, necessary infrastructure improvements, and the availability of water capacity. Staff provided an analysis of the request's alignment with the comprehensive plan, noting that it supports community housing goals. Approval was discussed with specific conditions, including the requirement for individual unit metering and subsequent City Council approval for the reallocation of water taps.
