The 2022-2027 Strategic Plan for the University of South Dakota College of Arts & Sciences focuses on offering a world-class education in the liberal arts and sciences, creating and disseminating knowledge, and serving the people of South Dakota, the nation, and the world. Key strategic themes include pursuing excellence in teaching and learning, recruiting and retaining students, faculty, and staff, developing and deploying resources effectively, cultivating an open, welcoming, and responsive community, and refining the message and communication strategy. The plan aims to prepare students to solve future challenges through superior teaching and mentoring, increase external funding, and foster a sense of belonging within the college community.
