University of Hawaiʻ’i Community Colleges Strategic Plan 2023-2029
The Strategic Plan for the University of Hawaiʻ’i Community Colleges (UHCC) serves as a comprehensive roadmap to guide the efforts of its seven colleges and articulate a future vision. Aligning with the broader UH Strategic Plan, it is built upon four imperatives: fulfilling kuleana to Native Hawaiians and Hawaiʻ’i by embracing indigenous values and knowledge; developing successful students for a better future through comprehensive support and innovative learning experiences; meeting Hawaiʻ’i's workforce needs by partnering with industry and providing relevant training; and diversifying Hawaiʻ’i's economy through innovation and entrepreneurial skill development. The plan's vision is to be the premier, accessible choice for higher education in Hawaiʻ’i, grounded in indigenous values, and to cultivate the workforce of today and tomorrow.
