The council addressed several legislative matters, including the rezoning of property from residential to business, amendments to the city's excavation codes regarding permit fees and contractor requirements, and the establishment of a formal video policy for the police department to recoup costs associated with public records requests. Additionally, the council ratified multiple easements for electric infrastructure and authorized recommendations from the Tax Incentive Review Council regarding various tax abatement agreements, including the termination of one specific tax incentive due to unmet employment goals.

The City Council discussed snow removal and driveway maintenance issues, particularly concerning Cleveland Road. Appointments were made to the Joint Port Authority. The council awarded a construction contract for the US6 Phase 2 project and approved an agreement with the Board of Trustees for Huron Township to provide fire protection and emergency squad services. The City Council meeting included a proclamation celebrating the 85th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Huron.
