Victoria Independent School District Board Room Recap
The board meeting included several key agenda items. The session began with awards and recognitions for staff dedication and years of service. A budget workshop was conducted as the second in a series. Academic services provided updates on student outcome data and district goals. The board approved rankings for architectural and engineering firms for the 2026 bond program, as well as an underwriter syndicate. Additionally, appointments were made to the Bond Oversight Committee and subcommittees. The board also elected a delegate and alternate to the 2026 Texas Association of School Boards Delegate Assembly, approved a contract for the Skyward student information system, and certified compliance with state education code requirements. Finally, a closed session was held regarding personnel matters and superintendent incentive goals.
