The committee authorized the service director to go out for bids not to exceed 7.8 million dollars as an emergency. Updates were also provided regarding the wastewater plant, the long-term control plan, and phase one wastewater plant improvements. Additionally, a citizen raised concerns about landlords being held responsible for unpaid utility bills, specifically regarding water, solid waste, and storm sewer charges.

The council meeting addressed various legislative items, including the repeal of chapters regarding ambulance regulation and parking meters, and amendments to chapters concerning parking and municipal provisions.
