West Jasper School District Dropout Prevention Plan 2026-2027
The West Jasper School District's Dropout Prevention Plan establishes a comprehensive framework to identify and support students at risk of dropping out, with the overarching goal of increasing graduation outcomes and ensuring post-secondary success. The plan is structured around five strategic goals: identifying and supporting at-risk students, maintaining and improving the district's graduation rate, reducing chronic absenteeism and behavioral referrals through evidence-based interventions, increasing opportunities for college, career, military, and workforce readiness, and strengthening collaboration between schools, families, and community agencies. The district utilizes an Early Warning System (EWS) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to proactively address barriers to student success.
