Principles
The Front Royal Statement articulates seven cardinal principles for Catholic Primary and Secondary Education. This document, emerging from the Front Royal Education Summit, aims to renew Catholic K-12 education by returning to the Church's ancient educational philosophy to address contemporary crises. The principles address the supernatural end of education, the nature and dignity of the human person, the rights of parents and duties of the state, the ecclesial responsibilities of bishops and priests, the formation of teachers and leaders, the integrity and order of the curriculum, and the transmission of a living Catholic culture. The statement seeks to unify educational renewal efforts and inspire the integral formation of the whole child.
