The committee also deliberated on the impacts of delivery trucks and autonomous vehicles on curb management and safety, ultimately evaluating the plan for a motion of support to be forwarded to the city council.

The Burlingame Downtown Specific Plan is a comprehensive document designed to guide the development and management of the Burlingame Downtown area. It outlines specific goals and policies, land use regulations, and strategies for streetscapes, open spaces, design and character, historic resources, circulation, parking, and implementation, aiming to foster a cohesive and functional downtown environment.

The agenda includes several legislative and administrative items, such as the adoption of an ordinance to amend zoning code and map for Transit Oriented Development, and professional services agreements for housing services and a storm drain master plan.
