The meeting focused on the collaboration between SCTEC and the Spring City Chamber of Commerce for the Christmas at The Depot / Lighting the Way to Christmas Event. Key discussion points included parade logistics, lighting of the Depot, sponsorship strategies, vendor coordination, a gingerbread contest, music and entertainment arrangements, food vendor setup, a passport initiative, carriage rides, marketing plans, and a storefront décor contest. The Ornaments / Memorial Tree discussion was tabled.

The meeting focused on accepting April minutes, voting to fill a vacant board seat, and discussing the Spring City Splash/Paddle Event. Stephania Motes was voted to fill the empty board seat. The commission approved the Splash Event to be held at Veterans Park from 10am to 3pm, with a budget of $200 allocated for activities for smaller children. Tasks were assigned for event preparations, including securing vendors, coordinating with Monkey Town Inflatables and Destin 2 Chill, and obtaining necessary permits and volunteers. The commission also discussed sending postcard reminders for events and noted a sponsor for Lighting the Way.

The workshop included discussions on continuing the Interim City Manager salary for Brenda Dodson, participating in the Property Conservation Matching Grant Program with PEPartners, setting a date for the City Halloween event, and considering Denny Longstreet as a member of the Spring City Park Board. The agenda also covered the second term of Alma Marquardt and Shawn O'Neil on the Library Board, the addition of Chris Anderson to the Library Board, bids for painting the exterior of the Audrey Pack Library, and renewing a CD at SouthEast Bank.

The meeting included a report on library operations and programs, Karen's departure, and a library convention in Chattanooga. Regional information was shared, including a building matching grant for the Clyde Roddy library and an upcoming Trustee Workshop. Alma Marquardt and Sean O'Neill were reappointed as Trustees.
