This Comprehensive School Improvement Plan for the Affton School District serves as a roadmap for continuous improvement. It is structured around five strategic focus areas: Innovative Teaching & Learning, Highly Qualified Staff, Resource Management, Community Engagement, and Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement. The plan's overarching goals are to maintain the highest level of accreditation and to produce highly capable, curious, and confident learners, thereby preparing all students to become confident and capable citizens for the challenges of a global society.

The Return to Learn Task Force meeting reviewed community conditions and sources of information, including monthly webinars from the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Senior Services. Topics included modified quarantine protocols, staff vaccinations, and ideas for staff, student, and parent mental health and wellness. There was also a conversation about COVID statistics and building-specific differences.

The meeting included discussions about the approval of the agenda and the consent agenda, which encompassed minutes from May 3rd, disbursements, an updated 2223 school calendar, PD agreements, dual credit MOU from Missouri State University, elementary math specialist MOU from the University of Central Missouri, and a summit learning agreement.
