Public Board Meeting Public Board Meeting
The board discussed several items, including a land acknowledgement, agenda amendments, and the approval of school calendar options, ultimately deferring the approval of the 2027-2028 school calendar until sister boards have their calendars available. Presentations were made by the CUPE representative regarding staff workload and the need for additional support staff, with board members acknowledging the contributions of support staff and inquiring about funding. Additionally, the board discussed and debated a joint use and planning agreement for the Town of Bonaccord, raising concerns about facility access, designating specific classroom spaces for community use, and maintaining security barriers within the school.
