Learner profiles, co-created by students and educators, capture individual interests, strengths, challenges, and goals, fostering self-monitoring and growth. Learning pathways offer flexibility in pace and activities, instructional strategies, and student voice, adapting to individual needs and interests. Flexible learning environments support learning anytime and anywhere, promoting decision-making and risk-taking. Competency-based learning, using the SC Competencies, measures growth toward the Profile of the SC Graduate, ensuring academic goals and personal success skills are measurable and transferable. The framework aims to embed equity within the culture, structure, and pedagogy of schools.
