The board meeting addressed several key issues. A financial report was reviewed and approved. A discussion took place regarding the cheerleading policy for homeschooled children. Bids for HVAC replacement at Monticello Elementary School were considered, with the Griffin Heating, Air and Electric bid being selected. Policy updates and revisions in Section 3 were approved. The closing of the Drew Central/Monticello Special Education Consortium was approved. March 2020 extra duty pay was approved. Personnel decisions, including resignations and rehires, were made, along with contract adjustments for Tyler Cox and Reid Smith.
