The City Commission held a meeting featuring the introduction of the new City Manager and recognition of community events. The Commission approved consent agenda items, including change orders for the historic homes roof project and the wastewater treatment plant, as well as a funding request for a community playground. Additionally, a public hearing was conducted to discuss the establishment of a planned unit development at the site of the former Washington Elementary School to accommodate a training facility and administrative offices.
