The Personnel Commission discussed the Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan offered to employees, noting that the plan will move forward and that some positions may be restored. Additionally, the commission approved various eligibility lists for positions including Food and Nutrition Services Assistant, Ground Supervisor, Instructional Assistant-Intensive Behavioral Intervention, Instructional Assistant-Special Education, Instructional Assistant-Instrumental Music, and Teacher-EDP.

The commission held a regular meeting where they discussed the Supplemental Early Retirement Plan currently being offered to district employees, including the deadline for final decisions and its potential impact on future staffing positions. Additionally, the commission reviewed and approved several eligibility lists for various district roles, including positions in food and nutrition services, grounds supervision, special education support, instructional assistance for instrumental music, and teaching for the extended day program.

The board meeting addressed various administrative and educational items, including developer fee discussions, a Measure C update, and the approval of several purchase orders for maintenance and utilities. Educational initiatives included the renewal of IXL Learning subscriptions, the approval of an Air Tutors contract, and the adoption of Edgenuity online curriculum. The meeting included discussions on labor negotiations with MBUTA and CSEA, updates on school safety, and recognition of National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists. Action items addressed included the adoption of science instructional materials, a public hearing and certification regarding the sufficiency of instructional materials, approval of the guaranteed maximum price for the Stadium Way Project, and the ratification of a special employment agreement. Furthermore, the board authorized teaching assignments, addressed personnel assignments, approved student travel for Model UN conferences, ratified purchase orders, accepted the Williams UCP first quarter report, approved the California Healthy Kids Survey, and reviewed amendments to board policies and administrative regulations.
