Lee Public School District Student Opportunity Act Plan Submission 2025-2027
This three-year Student Opportunity Act (SOA) Plan outlines the district's strategy to improve Early Literacy skills and address disparities in ELA and Math for students with disabilities, English Learners, and low-income students. The plan focuses on the continued implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) in ELA and Math, supported by meaningful professional development for staff in partnership with HMH. Key strategic areas include implementing high-quality and engaging instructional materials (Focus Area 2.1) and targeting to move 80% of all students, including the identified subgroups, to meeting or exceeding expectations in Math and ELA. The intended outcomes include improved test scores, quicker English language acquisition, and an enhanced sense of self for students.
