Building Board of Appeals Minutes of the Special Meeting
The Building Board of Appeals held a special meeting to address an appeal regarding a notice of unsafe structure at 255 Pine Rock Avenue, U-3. Discussions centered on the authority of the board to reject the building official's order, the responsibilities of the homeowner versus the Homeowners Association (HOA), and the allocation of funds for repairs. The board determined that the notice was incorrectly issued to the homeowner and should have been directed to the HOA. The board concluded by directing the building official to issue a corrected notice to the HOA and requesting that the association hire a structural engineer to inspect the property.
The committee reviewed income and expenses. Income included $2,600 and an investment check of $30,000. Bills paid included those from All American Waste, US Cemetery Services (for March and landscaping), and Hartford Ins.
