The 'RE-Imagine Rehoboth 2035' Downtown Vision Plan provides a comprehensive, integrated framework for the City of Rehoboth Beach to address its unique challenges and opportunities through 2035. Key focus areas include urban design and physical form, zoning and regulatory frameworks, economic and market analysis, public realm and open space planning, civic and anchor evaluation, and an implementation strategy. The plan aims to foster a bike and pedestrian-friendly environment, create a vibrant year-round town for residents and businesses, enhance cultural aspects, and ensure deliberate future development in this built-out coastal community.

The committee reviewed the role and representation of the Delaware River and Bay Authority, confirmed the designation of committee members, and discussed the future consideration of a new membership application. A presentation was provided by the Delaware River and Bay Authority regarding their police operations, personnel structure, security protocols, and interagency coordination. The committee approved amendments to the PAC bylaws, including adjustments to representative numbers and agency support staff contributions. Additionally, representatives from the Rehoboth Beach Police, Lewes Police, and Delaware River and Bay Authority provided operational updates concerning staffing, recruitment, community events, emergency preparedness, and the use of body-worn cameras.

This document outlines the accomplishments of the Rehoboth Beach 9-1-1 Communications Center in 2025 and its goals for 2026. Key achievements in 2025 included successfully reaccrediting as a TRI-ACE Center of Excellence and enhancing staffing through training and recruitment efforts. For 2026, the center aims to further enhance efficiency and effectiveness by continuing policy and procedure updates and providing ongoing education and advanced training to its Communications Specialists. The overarching objective is to provide effective emergency communication services, ensure public safety, stabilize incidents, and protect property through continuous investment in personnel and equipment.

This Construction and Operations Plan outlines the development of the Maryland Offshore Wind Project. The plan details the construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of an offshore wind electric generating facility, encompassing offshore structures, inter-array and export cables, and onshore infrastructure. It adopts a project design envelope approach, allowing for up to 121 wind turbine generators, four offshore substations, and one meteorological tower. The primary objective is to provide offshore wind renewable energy to fulfill state and federal clean energy standards, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and create economic opportunities in the region.
