Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Hempstead Regular Meeting
The Board of Trustees conducted an executive session regarding two pending litigation settlements and subsequently approved both matters. The meeting included presentations from various public bodies and boards, as well as the approval of numerous miscellaneous business license applications. A report from the Village Justice regarding court cases and monies remitted was noted. Significant resolutions were passed, including a tax assessment settlement for Peninsula Realty Group, Inc., approval of a contract addendum for the Mirschel Park Improvement Project, adoption of an updated Village Fee Schedule, and the award of a bid for shooting range ballistic media processing. Additionally, the Board scheduled public hearings for a hardship exemption regarding a convenience store moratorium and for the revocation of a business license. Other approvals included a Gospel Music and Preach event for the Shekina Worship Center, a residency waiver and appointment for a Bilingual Cashier, supplemental sick leave for an accounting employee, and the payment of audited bills.
