The council recognized the Public Works Department for receiving the Road Ready program distinction from the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool. The council approved the consent agenda, followed by the approval of professional grant administration services from Public Management Inc. and professional engineering services from Urban Engineering for the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) 2025 disaster supplement program. Furthermore, the council authorized a grant application to FEMA for flood mitigation assistance on the Blue Creek project and approved a financing request from the Northside Center to complete the historic auditorium renovation project.
