This document is a comprehensive atlas for the Neosho Basin, compiled as part of the Kansas Water Plan. It presents detailed geographical and statistical information related to water resources, including hydrology, land use, major aquifers, surface water, population distribution, precipitation patterns, and various water uses (irrigation, municipal, industrial, recreation, stock water). The atlas also maps water management infrastructure such as public water suppliers, federal lake storage customers, and watershed districts, in addition to agricultural inventories for crops and livestock.

The Kansas Water Plan outlines a strategic approach to water resource management for the state of Kansas, focusing on five guiding principles. These principles include conserving and extending the High Plains Aquifer, securing and restoring state reservoirs, improving water quality, reducing vulnerability to extreme events, and increasing public awareness of water resources. The plan also details the State Water Plan Fund, which serves as the primary funding mechanism for implementing these strategies through various programs and initiatives.

This document outlines the Kansas Water Office's purpose, priorities, and budget recommendations for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027. Its strategic pillars include developing a comprehensive State Water Plan, coordinating water resource operations, and ensuring adequate quantities of good quality water. Key priorities are sustaining the state's reservoir system, conserving the Ogallala Aquifer, protecting watersheds through sediment and nutrient reduction, and developing regional water supply strategies to meet future needs.

This document presents the Certified Irrigation System Assessment (CISA) Program, outlining its strategic goals to achieve measurable and scalable water conservation, improved water quality, ecological soundness, and enhanced public health through economically viable solutions. The program is structured around four key pillars: Well Evaluation, The Pump, Irrigation System assessment, and Irrigation Water Management. It details findings, suggested improvements, and future directions for optimizing irrigation practices and water resource management, aiming to increase water duty and ensure sustainable use.

The agenda for the Kansas Water Authority meeting included several key items for decision and discussion. Topics for decision included RAC Membership Appointments and the CY 2026 Surplus Water Report for Water Marketing Program Lakes, which allows the Director to enter into contracts for surplus water. Discussions covered KWA Operations Committee business, federal updates including USGS and Bureau of Reclamation Cooperative Agreements, and a presentation on the Water Control Manual Update for the Kansas River. Other items included an overview of the KWA/RAC Legislative Visit Day and the Director's Report, which covered the IPM Correction Endorsement.
