The Massachusetts Gaming Commission held a public meeting to discuss various topics, including legislative and administrative updates, sports wagering division updates, and community affairs. The commission also discussed collective bargaining of the SEIU Local 888 Agreement in an executive session. Additionally, the commission reviewed and voted on proposed revisions to the event catalog regarding the Russian/Belarusian prohibition, and discussed updates on wager limitations by operators. The meeting also included a presentation by the Local Enterprise Assistance Fund (LEAF) and a review of the proposed FY26 research agenda.

The meeting will include an administrative update, legal matters (including a litigation update and executive session), investigations and enforcement updates (covering sports wagering noncompliance and temporary license requests), an update on employment and vendor diversity, racing division updates, sports wagering division updates (including house rule updates and license extension requests), and legal matters (including regulation amendments and rule updates). Discussion will also cover various topics such as handling of wagers related to sports wagering noncompliance, noncompliance matters related to several sports wagering licensees, and updates to table game rules.

The meeting will include a legislative update, an administrative update, and discussions on regulations such as 205 CMR 247.03 and 205 CMR 3.00. Presentations will be given by the Local Enterprise Assistance Fund, the Racing Division (including the Racing 2024 Annual Report), the Sports Wagering Division (including a DraftKings wager voiding request and an update on wager limitations), and Research and Responsible Gaming (presenting their FY26 Research Agenda). Executive sessions will address collective bargaining and review of previous executive session minutes.

The meeting included administrative updates, reports from the Racing, Investigations and Enforcement, Sports Wagering, and Community Affairs divisions. Key discussion points involved capital improvement fund considerations for Plainridge Park Casino, unpaid winnings, collective bargaining, sports wagering compliance, firearms security at MGM Springfield, KYC identity authentication requests from DraftKings and Penn Sports Interactive, a community mitigation fund application summary, and MGM Springfield's quarterly report. The meeting also included executive sessions to discuss strategy regarding collective bargaining, firearms security, KYC methods, and MGM Springfield's capital expenditure plan.
