The High Library's Information Literacy Mission Statement aims to equip students with essential information literacy skills for lifelong learning, professional development, civic engagement, and public service, aligning with Elizabethtown College's mission. The program focuses on enabling students to effectively, efficiently, and ethically locate, evaluate, and use information, viewing research as an iterative and exploratory process. Key goals include fostering students' ability to understand research needs and tools, search for and organize information, think critically about information and the research process, and value and use information ethically.
