Parks And Environment Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes

The committee reviewed progress reports for three parks: Stone Point Park, where a grant program was completed and a leafy spurge response plan was developed, along with plans for greenhouse disposal; Apple Blossom Park, which saw the conclusion of logging operations, discussions on prairie expansion and maintenance, a future prescribed burn, and the formation of a friends group; and Farmers Park, which remains closed for the winter. Additionally, members noted positive press for the Driftless Area in the Washington Post.
