The meeting focused on the review and approval of various club budgets and funding requests. Key actions included amending and approving a budget request for the blood drive, as well as passing full budget allocations for the ECC 3D club and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Additionally, an agenda item regarding a budget amendment was adjusted downward, and another agenda item was tabled for a future meeting.

The meeting included the approval of an interfund transfer and numerous budget requests for various student clubs, including the Computing Club, Political Science Club, Campus Companions, Art Exhibition Club, Architecture Club, Computer Science Club, Legacy & Finance Network, Southbay Aerospace Makers, Child Development, Real Estate Association, Game Development Club, and the Black Student Union. Additionally, the council discussed ICC banquet event sanctioning and opened nominations for the 2026-2027 ICC elections.

The committee addressed several new business items, including a special budget request, a funding request for a mid-semester check-in event, and a budget request for an EDI presentation. Additionally, the committee received reports from campus committees.

The committee reviewed and approved several funded program requests for the 2026-2027 academic year, including MICASA, Career Services, the Transfer Center, and Athletics. Discussion regarding the Career Services request led to a budget amendment reducing the allocation to $8,500 by removing certain workshop and printing contingency costs. The committee also received various campus committee reports.

The Senate meeting focused on various administrative and financial agenda items. Key actions included the confirmation of several presidential appointments, the acceptance of the consent calendar, and the review and approval of multiple budget requests. Specifically, the Senate approved funding for the CAUSE Spring 2026 budget, programs, election-related expenses, Fine Arts divisional events, Natural Sciences events, EDI division initiatives, ASO merchandise and graduation stoles, athletics meal money, and banquet costs. The session also included committee and oral reports regarding student equity and council activities.
