Burbank Planning Commission Regular Meeting
The Planning Commission conducted a regular meeting that included the selection of a new Chair and Vice-Chair for a one-year term. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to a public hearing regarding a conditional use permit request for 'Kato Marmont', a cat hotel located at 2801 Empire Avenue. The commission reviewed the operational details of the business, which is a cat-only facility with no dogs, and staff confirmed the project's compliance with zoning regulations and its eligibility for environmental exemption. No public opposition was noted after clarification that the facility operates exclusively for cats.
