The Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims (SNCJCC) will interview judges for reappointment and prospective applicants for nomination as Judge of Compensation Claims for the Miami (MIA) and Tampa (TPA) districts, in anticipation of retirements. The Commission will also discuss procedural issues for the upcoming meeting. Opposition to reappointment of judges or nomination of applicants must be submitted in writing by August 6th, 2012. There is also a vacancy for a Commission-appointed Commissioner residing in the geographic area of the Fifth District Court of Appeals.

The Statewide Judicial Nominating Commission meeting will include reappointment interviews for several judges and candidate interviews for open positions in Lakeland, West Palm Beach, and Miami. The agenda also includes a time-certain interview with Judge Castiello, commissioner appointments, discussion of the next meeting, and re-adoption of commission guidelines.
