Waseca County Community Corrections Comprehensive Plan 2026
This Comprehensive Plan serves as a strategic roadmap for Waseca County Community Corrections, outlining its long-term direction, services, and commitment to public safety. The plan details the transition to the Community Corrections Act (CCA) model, providing comprehensive services for juvenile and adult criminal matters, including felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, pretrial, and supervised release. Key strategic pillars include the integration of evidence-based practices such as validated risk/needs assessment, case planning, and cognitive behavioral interventions. The 2026 goals prioritize fully integrated probation services post-CCA transition, continuous development and evaluation of evidence-based services through integrated coaching and quality assurance measures, and fostering a community-based approach that ensures a safe working environment for staff, clients, and the public.
