The committee reviewed old business, specifically the completion of a door strike project. Building safety concerns were addressed, including sidewalk repairs at multiple locations, a door issue at William Penn, and reports of mold at Central Elementary, along with the completion of exterior light repairs at the Middle School. Additionally, three accident reports were reviewed, and proposed changes to the committee by-laws were introduced for future consideration.

The committee reviewed the status of various building maintenance and safety items across multiple district schools, including installations, structural monitoring, and repairs for doors, sidewalks, walls, lighting, and handrails. The committee discussed specific building safety concerns related to cleanliness and structural issues, addressed reported accidents, and coordinated investigations into ongoing maintenance problems.

The committee reviewed the status of various facility maintenance items, including resolved issues with loading dock mud, improvements in school cleanliness, and pending door strike installations. Safety concerns were addressed regarding building inspections and specific hazards such as burnt-out parking lot lights at multiple sites, sound system inconsistencies, bleacher safety, and ventilation issues in a classroom. Additionally, the committee performed an accident review of three separate reports.

The committee reviewed the status of various facility maintenance items, including sidewalk repairs, equipment disposal, and playground improvements at Central Elementary. Discussions were held regarding anti-slip strip replacements at the High School stadium, and insect control and sidewalk repairs at William Penn Elementary. The committee addressed building safety concerns across several schools, such as mildew remediation, ADA compliance, electrical and fire alarm malfunctions due to construction, and lighting adjustments. Additionally, the committee performed an accident review of 11 reports and received an annual safety training session.

The committee discussed the status of various facility repairs, including stage and door replacements, anti-slip strip installations, and site-specific landscaping and equipment disposal projects. Safety concerns were addressed, focusing on pest management, sidewalk repairs, and maintenance of floor tiles and thresholds across multiple elementary and high school buildings. New business items included welcoming a new committee member, the implementation of safety vests for staff assigned to bus duty, and upcoming AED training initiatives.
