The Board of Commissioners discussed and approved a tax increase for Rural Hall. Additionally, the Board officially adopted the Forsyth County budget ordinance for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

The Board of Commissioners meeting included the approval of tax releases and the adoption of a resolution recognizing the 100th anniversary of the Forsyth County Board of Health and National Public Health Week. Budget ordinances were amended to appropriate additional funds for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Crisis Intervention Program (CIP). The meeting concluded with the approval of the 2018 Commissioners' Committee Appointment Summary and several tax refunds.
