The meeting was convened to address the appointment of a new Town Treasurer. The Board accepted the recommendation from the Republican Town Committee to appoint Amy Whitehouse to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the current term.
The commission reviewed and approved a subdivision application for Neil Souvigney on Kozey Road, noting that no new development is proposed. Discussions were held regarding the Plan of Conservation and Development, specifically addressing current regulations, implementation priorities, and resident survey results concerning zoning. Additionally, a committee report was noted regarding an IWWC application for an Ashford Bridge construction stockpile at the town transfer station.
The board held a regular meeting where they addressed several key topics. The board awarded bids for a water filtration system and two municipal plow trucks. Additionally, the resignations of the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer were accepted.
