The Water Shortage Contingency Plan for Victorville Water District is a strategic framework designed to proactively prepare for and respond to water shortages. It establishes six standard shortage levels and outlines comprehensive response actions, including demand reduction, supply augmentation, and emergency response. The plan also details communication protocols, compliance and enforcement measures, financial impact assessments, monitoring, reporting, and refinement procedures. Its primary objective is to prevent catastrophic service disruptions, maintain reliable water supplies, and mitigate the impacts of supply shortages and interruptions.

The meeting included an introduction and presentation by Mach Industries regarding their defense technology and their acquisition of Squadron, highlighting plans for facility expansion and solid rocket motor production in the Victorville area.
