This document provides a mid-year update for the 2023-2026 "Many Voices, One Vision" Strategic Plan, detailing progress and adjustments across its objectives. The plan encompasses strategic pillars such as College Engagement and Wellbeing, Communication, Data, Enrollment and Retention, and Programming. Additionally, the theme of Resilience has been integrated for the 2025-2026 cycle. The overarching goals aim to foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging institutional environment, enhance recruitment and retention, optimize communication, drive data-informed decisions, improve student enrollment and retention, and develop responsive academic pathways.

The agenda for the combined committees meeting covers the Personnel, Curriculum, and Government Relations reports, including a Title IX semi-annual update, a program presentation review, the annual report of the curriculum committee, committee assignments, and legislative updates. Additionally, the finance and facilities portion includes reviews of the cash flow statement, revenue and expenditures, enrollment data for upcoming terms, the facilities master plan, and a resolution regarding a lease agreement with First American Equipment Finance.

The Board discussed potential international educational partnerships and reviewed enrollment dashboards. A presentation was provided regarding the expansion and strategic priorities of the Center for Workforce Development, including new certificate programs and financial aid alignment. Several resolutions were approved, including a faculty sabbatical leave, multiple retirement recognitions, and the designation of Emeritus status for retired faculty and staff. Additionally, the Board approved the appointment of an Interim Vice President for Finance and the naming of a facility wall as the Catalyst to Workforce Development Pathway.

The agenda includes the Treasurer's report covering cash flow, revenue, and expenditures, and the President's report including enrollment updates. Key items include the appointment of committee members and the selection of officers for the upcoming fiscal year. Discussion topics include AI initiatives, trustee retirement recommendations, the appointment of legal counsel, and the setting of the fiscal year meeting schedule. Additionally, the board will address facility projects such as building renovations, elevator maintenance, ramp construction, and HVAC upgrades, as well as receive legal updates in an executive session.

The board meeting included a review of financial reports and a presentation from the Student Government Association regarding recent events and future advocacy plans. Key actions included the approval of revised guidelines for naming opportunities for supporters and the authorization of a contract with Silfies Masonry for the Technology Center Mechanical Room wall filtration project. Additionally, updates were provided on legislative and governmental affairs, committee activities, and the ongoing search for a new Vice President of Finance and Administration.
