The Strategic Enrollment Management Plan for Nash Community College focuses on enhancing student engagement, improving enrollment processes, increasing student retention, and ensuring post-graduation success. Key areas include marketing and recruitment, onboarding and enrollment, persistence and retention, and completion and credential attainment. The plan aims to align academic programs with labor market demands, provide comprehensive support services, and foster a culture of academic excellence to elevate the region's economic prosperity and educational attainment.
Nash Community College's 2021-2026 Strategic Plan focuses on three main goals: 1) Providing a continuum of programs, training, and support services that meet the needs of students, employers, and the community; 2) Cultivating community engagement and partnerships to support the college's mission; and 3) Promoting a supportive and inclusive culture that fosters growth and development. The plan aims to align academic programs with regional economic needs, increase access to educational offerings, enhance advising and career services, promote the college as an educational resource, expand community engagement, and strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Success will be measured through quantitative metrics such as completion and employment data, enrollment reports, and completion rates, as well as qualitative metrics such as reports from industry on skills gaps and examples of experiential learning experiences.
The document outlines Nash Community College's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a five-year initiative developed for accreditation, focused on enhancing student learning and success. The core strategy is the establishment of a 'Success Network' designed to holistically support students from application to graduation. This network addresses student challenges such as resource access, time management, and personal struggles by connecting them with essential services and resources. Key components include success coaching, academic advising, personalized success plan development, proactive outreach, and an early alert system, ensuring students receive comprehensive support from a unified team throughout their academic journey.
