Wicomico County Council Legislative Session
The council conducted a public hearing on legislative bills regarding zoning requirements for manufactured and modular housing, as well as subdivision regulations for agriculture/rural districts. A priority letter to the Maryland Department of Transportation for the Consolidated Transportation Program was discussed and amended to update project dates and remove references to school bus routes. The council also deliberated on a proposed Cable Franchise Agreement with Talkie Communications and rejected a resolution to establish a West Side Advisory Committee. Additionally, an appointment to the Water and Sewer Technical Advisory Committee was confirmed.
