Hall County Government Parks & Community Services Advisory Board Advisory Board Meeting
The meeting included department reports highlighting that the Parks/Marina is near its revenue goal, and new fees for Campgrounds, Community Centers, and the Ag Center will be implemented on July 1st. Maintenance reported on the readiness of the Farmers Market and the installation of new signage at Cherokee Bluffs. Recreation updates covered the end of the Lanier Soccer Association season, registration dates for Adult Softball Leagues, and upcoming tennis/pickleball leagues. Capital Projects discussions involved the approval of Whitehall Rd. improvements for Healen's Mill, updates on the South Hall Master Plan which proposes an Active Life Center, and the upcoming bid opening for the East Hall Library. The Board also approved new vendor policies for Food Trucks, establishing fees for Invitation based agreements and vendor-initiated sales.
