Numerous citizens expressed strong opposition to the project, citing concerns over negative impacts on property values, potential health risks, noise pollution, and environmental degradation, specifically regarding water quality and the use of herbicides. Residents emphasized that the project appears to primarily benefit data centers in other states rather than local residents and urged the Commission to adopt an official resolution opposing the transmission line.
