The City Council discussed and accepted the Cumberland County and City of Portland Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing. The study was a collaborative effort between the City of Portland and Cumberland County and covered the 27 jurisdictions that represent the Consortia receiving federal HOME Partnership Investment Funds (HOME) from HUD. The resident survey was available online, in a format accessible to screen readers, and promoted through jurisdictional communications and social media and through partner networks. A total of 751 residents participated.
