The board meeting included interviews for an open Board of Education position, resulting in the appointment of Ms. Cara Zhao. A Roadmap to Reentry plan was presented, outlining the district's approach to reopening school buildings. Numerous motions were approved, covering personnel matters (resignations, appointments, leaves of absence, extra pay, summer employment), education (professional development, special education services, HIB reports, evaluation rubrics, student safety data), finance (payment of bills, financial reports, contract approvals, budget adjustments), facilities (long-range facilities plan, donations), and policy updates. The committee meeting focused on agenda curriculum review and textbook adoption.
