Finally, the plan aims to increase family and community engagement through improved communication and increased participation in school events.

Specific goals include increasing SOL pass rates in reading and math to 75% or higher for grades 3-5, decreasing the math failure rate for students with disabilities by 10%, increasing the science pass rate to 70%, and decreasing major behavior referrals by 20%. The plan outlines various actions, including implementing research-based instructional programs, providing professional development for teachers, and utilizing data-driven decision-making to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.

The 2023-2024 Strategic Plan for Arcadia High School focuses on three key goals: 1) Reduce the achievement gap by 10% in Science; 2) Reduce chronic absenteeism from 17.34% to 15%; and 3) Increase the graduation and completion index from 83.30% to 88%.
