The Board discussed and approved several items, including an economic development incentive grant for Iowa 80, a resolution for a guaranteed energy savings contract for Johnston Community College, and the acceptance of various state loans for water and sewer infrastructure projects. The meeting was convened to consider the Letter of Conditions from the USDA Rural Development regarding a grant and loan for the Ingrams Township Water District. The Board adopted a resolution to accept the conditions, which included approving an operating budget, authorizing necessary forms for the Rural Utility Service, and establishing a residential water usage rate schedule.
