The City of Corona Strategic Plan (2021-2026) outlines six strategic goals: Investing in Financial Stability, Fostering a Strong Economy, Constructing Sound Infrastructure, Shaping a Safe Community, Creating a Sense of Place, and Delivering High-Performing Government. The plan aims to create a safe, vibrant, and family-friendly community where everyone can thrive. The Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2024 (July 2023-June 2024) highlights key activities and achievements across these goals, including the development of several key plans (Downtown Revitalization, Economic Development, Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and Capital Improvement Plan), the creation of a Fire Safe Council, and the launch of a new city brand. The plan emphasizes sustainable finances, economic growth through business support and job creation, safe and clean communities, improved infrastructure, community building, and efficient and effective government services.

This resolution approves the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) and Administrative Budget for the City of Corona Successor Agency for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. The resolution includes findings that the ROPS and budget are necessary for administering ongoing obligations and winding down the affairs of the former agency. It also cites the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption for the approval. The Successor Agency's Executive Director is authorized to take necessary actions to implement the resolution.

The Oversight Board meeting will include updates on items forwarded to the State Department of Finance and an update from the Oversight Board legal counsel. The board will consider resolutions for the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (July 2017 through June 2018) and the Successor Agency Administrative Budget. Public comments will be heard.
