The Eagle Town Council is holding a public hearing to consider the proposed budget for the year 2026 and a supplemental budget amendment for 2025. The proposed budgets are available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. Interested parties can submit written comments or provide testimony at the Public Hearing.

The Town Board of Trustees convened for a regular meeting, addressing various topics including a lot drawing for candidates on the ballot and a proposal for the Old Town Hall rental. They discussed municipal and land use code updates, including a request to outsource the codification process. The board also reviewed a ballot initiative update and a resolution calling for the submission to registered electors of the question of increasing the town's sales tax and issuing sales tax revenue bonds. Additional discussions included a Highway Six Annexation update, the Recreation Committee, and a Town Manager update.

The Town Council of the Town of Eagle, Colorado, discussed and ordained an increase in compensation for Town Council members and the Mayor. The compensation for each Council Member will be $600.00 per month, and the Mayor's compensation will be $1000.00 per month. Starting January 1, 2028, there will be annual increases based on the Consumer Price Index or the town's pay plan. The ordinance will be effective ten days after publication and applies to elected officials whose terms start after the 2025 municipal election.

The plan incorporates extensive outreach through household and employer surveys, focus groups, and direct interviews to gather primary data on housing needs, preferences, and economic impacts, with the ultimate goal of informing and developing effective regional housing solutions.
