Poquoson City Public Schools Special Meeting
The board discussed a proposal to adjust the pay plan to provide employees with a 4% compensation increase instead of the previously approved 2% increase. It was noted that updated state funding, including supplements for compensation, sales tax, English learners, and special education, covers the estimated additional costs of this adjustment. The adjustment was deemed necessary to allow the payroll to be finalized before July deadlines.
