Transition Readiness Framework
This framework outlines four key measures to determine a student's transition readiness upon exiting elementary school. These measures include Literacy/Numeracy (assessed by MAP scores, KSA P/D, and successful completion of core ELA and Math classes), GPA/Advanced Coursework (requiring a 2.8 GPA or Prep/Prep+ identification in math and reading), Attendance (maintaining a 90% rate), and participation in at least one extra/co-curricular activity. The combination of these indicators will provide an overall designation of transition readiness for each student.
