The meeting included a public hearing to discuss the 2025-2026 proposed budgets and tax rates. The General Funds, the Child Nutrition Fund and the Debt Service Fund budgets were adopted. The tax rates for 2025-2026 were approved. A budget amendment was also approved.

The Lindale Independent School District Board of Trustees convened to discuss several key items. The board addressed tax rates for advertisement, setting a date for a public hearing to discuss budgets and proposed tax rates. They also considered and acted upon local policies in TASB Update 125, an interlocal agreement with Tyler ISD and Smith County Schools, and the district's code of conduct. Furthermore, the board discussed the participation of homeschool students in UIL activities, the electricity contract, and a resolution sanctioning the 4-H organization as an extra-curricular activity. A cell phone policy was approved in compliance with House Bill 1481. The meeting also included a financial report, a presentation on district roofs, the Children's Internet Compliance Act (CIPA) presentation, and a review of the updated Emergency Operation Plan.
