City Council of Denison, Iowa Regular Called City Council Meeting
The council conducted interviews for an at-large vacancy, with the appointment scheduled for a future meeting. Department director reports were provided, covering library reaccreditation, public works projects, parks and recreation activities, and police department updates. Several requests were tabled, including the Furever Haven Rescue Inc request and rental registration requests. The council received an engineering update on the 2nd Ave S project, approved invoices for the South 24th Street Culvert Project and the Wellness Center, and authorized a lease agreement with New Cingular Wireless contingent on site plan approval.
